Artist Alley, Animefest 2024

Animefest is the biggest Japanese culture and pop culture themed festival in Czech republic since 2004 and takes place from May 24-26, 2024 at the Brno Exhibition Centre. Our attendees have a wide range of interests from anime and manga, comics, films and TV shows, to games and cosplay.

With total attendance over 29.000 visitors (11500 unique visitors) in 2023, Animefest is a great opportunity to sell your products.

What is Artist Alley?

Artist Alley is a place dedicated to the promotion of visual artists and booths selling hand- made merchandise. The participants of Artist Alley have the opportunity to draw directly at our convention, meet their fans and to gain valuable experience in the process. Every attendant will receive a fully equipped booth where he can sell merchandise with his own art, usual products range from prints to buttons and much more. At booths with hand- made stuff, you can buy items such as jewelry, pillows, plushies, cups, t-shirts, etc. everything with an anime theme orsomething similar related to Asian culture.

Useful Information

• Each place is 1,5 x 2m and includs a desk and a chair.
• Artist Alley will be located in the exhibition hall A2.
• Fan Art is allowed.
• „Tracing“ is strictly against the philosophy of Artist Alley and may be the basis for expelling a artist from their booth.
• Sale or use of AI-generated artwork is prohibited.
• No public exhibiting of materials not suitable for kids.
• Sharing of one place for more artists is not allowed.
• Promotion on Animefest website and social media is included.
• It is possible to buy ticket for one helper for 300 CZK.
• Switching places during the event is not allowed.
• Organizer has the right to deny appliction without giving reasons.

How to enroll?

Since the capacity of Artist Alley is limited, we may only pick several creators based on the quality of their work. The fee for one booth is 3824 CZK (152 €) (including VAT), 3160 CZK (126 €) (without VAT). Buying an Artist Alley booth includes one free entry for the convention.
As an Artist Alley attendant, you are also agreeing to respect the Animefest rules.
Breaking these rules might lead to expulsion from the booth without any refund of the original booth price.
